Meet Your Clinical Nutritionist

Hi, I’m Abbey! I have a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine. I’m also a qualified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer. I am extremely passionate about using Nutrition and exercise to prevent and manage chronic disease or, to simply help you feel your best. I’m a big advocate of the fact that you don’t know how good you can feel until you feel it. I challenge people to seek optimal health because I believe many sit comfortably with sub-par health. Why?

2. They have been told by doctors that everything is “normal”
3. The thought of changing is overwhelming and seems almost impossible

I know this because I’ve had my own heath battles. In my teens, I battled with Anorexia Nervosa and almost lost my life. It’s shaped the way I treat my clients as I approach every consultation with empathy and acknowledge that food is SO much more than just eating. It can have mental, emotional and social impacts too.

If you’re my client, I will always make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying the process. Why would you strive to be healthier in a way that makes you unhappy or feel deprived?
